Nothing quite brings a smile to everyone’s face like cakes do.

 I mean really, who doesn’t like cake?

They are delicious, sweet, and brought out while everyone is celebrating a special occasion. Personally, I’m a lover of cakes. I love to lick the batter off a spoon when making them at home.

Though mine may not have necessarily been “homemade” – as most came out of a box, and as proud of my creation as I might have been (whether warranted or not), nothing compares to the creations cake artist Kristin Peres makes in her company, “Cake or Death”.  As her company states – and I completely agree – she makes cakes to die for.
