Lips - they are such an expressive part of our faces. They tell people we're interacting with how we're feeling, and can instanlty change the "look" of an outfit by the colour we put over them.

When applying makeup for my clients - many women tell me how frustrated they become with lipsticks and lip glosses, as none have the staying power they hope for. Not only this, but all women have different textures and lines in their lips that require different approaches and manners of "finesse" in order to make them look stellar.

I find that many women have textured lips. Because of this, an ordinary lipstick will not suffice - as the lips will look 'ruff' without a gloss to put over them.

The whole, "wet lip" look - has been a popular look for ages now, and continues to stay strong due to the fact that it gives the illusion of "perfect" lips each and every time!

The trick is finding a gloss that goes on easily, has staying power - and feels nice to wear. Cue frustration.
