Librarian Chic from Prada

Monday, March 22nd 2010

From the posts that I have made so far, it should be clear by now that I love vintage clothing. My love for it is pretty serious.

Although, the Prada fashion show long finished back in February, I had to post pictures of it and reminisce just a little bit.  Miuccia Prada had certainly done it again (not that we would ever expect anything less!) with a feminine flare and vintage librarian vibe.

The clothing was beautifully feminine, and the entire collection was lined with many staples that every woman should have in her closet. But probably one of things I loved most about the collection is how comfortable it all looked with the endless amount of cable knits and thick tights that ran through the collection. Made me think of crisp fall mornings - my favorite.

Like many of the upcoming collections for fall, Prada also carried numerous amounts of neutral colours in their pieces, ranging from camels to charcoal greys.

One particular favorite of mine in the collection were all of the bows on the end of all the pumps. Delish.

As if the vintage aura weren't obvious enough, the show displayed old beauty advice such as, "brush your hair 100 strokes each night".

Love it.

What did you think of Prada's collection for this upcoming fall?

Warmest wishes,
