Decadent Indulgence

While I am a lover of fashion, I also adore and relish in other things luxurious - as life and fashion intermingle on so many levels.

Toronto may be no Paris or New York, but certainly has it's own unique qualities that most will find alluring none the less. It's restaurants are certainly no exception.

While I am all for having a casual afternoon/evening out, I must admit, I much prefer quaint little places that go over and above the call of duty - in both food, elegance, and style. This is why I must discuss a place I fancy far above many others - Morocco's.

Burried out of site in Yorkville, this place is where you go if you are looking to have an amazing brunch/afternoon/evening with friends or family. The boutique and lounge are exquisitely decorated in bright whites and moody velvets that carry over stuffed chairs, beautiful marble, and the most interesting mirrors. Almost an old world Alice and wonderland theme, if you will.

Known for their chocolates, sampling some of the goodies they carry is a simple "must" on your list if you visit here. Truffles, banana and chocolate spring rolls (heaven!), crepes, fondue, and many more will melt in your mouth.

One of my favorite things about it is that you can do things like have, "afternoon tea" there - something I savor, but is often forgotten by many. Having the pleasure of doing it now is like stepping in a time capsule. You receive the most delicious jams, biscuits, truffles, and tea. Yummy.

What do you think of Morocco's? Have you been? Would you go?

Warmest wishes,

I absolutely adore this little place of indulgent heaven tucked away in the heart of Toronto. I was pleasantly surprised to see the staff is not only beautiful, but friendly and attentive; whether you're having a espresso or a full meal. A lovely little escape.
