Wanting to help people has always been something Christie has strived towards. Ever since she was younger, she wanted to have a positive impact on the lives of others. From the age of 13 – 24, she worked in North America’s Top paediatric office assisting and helping others as a Chiropractic Assistant. One of her greatest joys was in seeing the eyes of others well up in tears because their life had transformed into something that they never thought was possible.

Eventually, she moved onto being a consultant and coach for doctors. Flying around North America, something she still does, she would train doctors and their staff on how to run a successful practice. It wasn’t about marketing and “selling” to patients, rather it was about how to be authentic and real.

Christie recognized early on that when you treat your patients and clients with compassion and love (and above all have some fun doing it) clients would feel that they were being truly loved and cared for by their doctor and as a result would refer other people. And it worked very well! It did require openness and growth on everyone’s part with image and personal development and eventually led to Christie consulting with Chiropractors throughout North America.

Consulting is only one of Christie’s passions. She also has always had a burning passion for fashion.

“Ever since I was little I attempted to sink my teeth into anything that was related to fashion. When I was very young I even looked through magazines and when I matured became involved in fashion shows, and then went on to Public Relations and Fashion Communications in school. I was always trying to find a way to merge my two passions of personal growth and fashion.”

“It wasn’t until a few years back that I first heard about image consulting. At first, I was worried that it would be a bit superficial - thinking it was all about ‘make-over’s’. However, as I researched further, I happily found out that it was more about assisting others from the inside-out. How perfect! So I took my required courses as soon as I could and fell in love with the industry! My two passions had finally come together!”

Christie now runs Personal Power Image Consulting; delivering corporate trainings on a variety of relevant topics such as; etiquette, networking, human relations, and public speaking.
